Sponsor
The Sponsor of the Two Years of Progress Post Card Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees ("AFSCME"), 1625 L Street, Washington, DC 20036.

Eligibility
Who May Enter: The Sweepstakes is open to individual U.S. Citizens and lawful permanent U.S. residents who are AFSCME Retirees or a family members of an AFSCME Retiree and who are at least 18 years of age as of July 22, 2024.

OFFER IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter
Methods: All eligible participants who wish to enter the Sweepstakes may enter using one of the following methods: (a) Volunteer Entry Method: To enter using the volunteer entry method, request and receive up to 250 postcards from AFSCME (and for which postage will by paid by AFSCME) by sending an email request to retirees@afscme.org and upon receipt of those postcards, write a personalized message about the 2022 election to fellow AFSCME working and retiree members, and document that you have completed the postcards and deposited into the U.S. mail by emailing your name, address, phone number, AFSCME Retiree Chapter (if applicable) and number of postcards mailed to retirees@afscme.org during the Promotion Period or by going to https://act.afscme.org/forms/postcard-report-back-form and fill out and submit the form during the Promotion Period. You will receive one Sweepstakes entry for each set of 25 postcards completed and mailed, up to a maximum of 10 Sweepstakes entries (for a total of 250 postcards completed and mailed); or (b) Free Online Entry Method: To enter using the free online entry method, visit https://act.afscme.org/forms/postcard-report-back-form, complete and submit the entry form during the Promotion Period. You will receive one Sweepstakes entry for each time you submit the entry form during the Promotion Period, up to a maximum of 10 Sweepstakes entries. Entering by using the volunteer entry method will not increase your chances of winning a prize. Eligible participants may not enter the Sweepstakes by any and all methods combined more than 10 times.

All Required Information Must Be Submitted: Failure to submit all information as required by these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Proof of contributions or online entry does not constitute proof of receipt of entry by Sponsor. All entrants and entries are subject to verification by Sponsor.

Promotion Period
The Promotion Period will begin at 12:00:00 am Eastern Time on July 23, 2022, and will end at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time on August 31, 2022. Sponsor's computers will serve as the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

Prize
Prize Description: Five (5) winners will receive one American Express gift card valued at one of the following amounts: First Prize: $200; Second Prize: $100; Third Prize: $100; Fourth Prize: $50; and Fifth Prize: $50
Value: Approximate retail value of the Prizes: First Prize: $200; Second Prize: $100; Third Prize: $100; Fourth Prize: $50; and Fifth Prize: $50.

Selection of Winner.
Date and Manner of Selection: On September 15, 2024, Sponsor will select through a random drawing five (5) winners from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

Notification: Winner will be notified by phone or e-mail on September, 2022

Claiming the Prize: To claim the Prize, the winner must follow the instructions and comply with the conditions contained in his/her/their notification. If not enough potential winners respond to Sponsor's attempts to contact them or are otherwise disqualified such that Sponsor is unable to award the Prize, Sponsor may select additional potential winners by random drawing from remaining eligible entries.
The winner must sign liability waivers and a publicity release in order to claim the Prize. In the event the winner does not sign the required papers, Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner or to not award the Prize.
Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, the winner hereby grants Sponsor the right to use his/her/their name and likeness in promotional materials relating to the Sweepstakes.
Non-Transferable: The Prize is not transferable, nor are there substitutions or cash redemptions, except at Sponsor's discretion if the Prize becomes unavailable.

Chances of Winning
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received during the Promotion Period.

List of Winners
You may request a winner's list for the Sweepstakes by sending a written request to Sponsor at the address stated above, which is received by Sponsor no later than August 31, 2025.

Other Important Information
Sponsor's decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
Disclaimer: Sponsor is not liable for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect entries. No mechanically reproduced entries or faxes will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for any tampering with this Sweepstakes (e.g., hackers, viruses, automated entry devices, and other). Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify the Sweepstakes at any time in case of technical failures or other issues outside of its control. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify anyone who violates these Official Rules.
Taxes: All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Collected Information: The information Sponsor collects about entrants through this Sweepstakes will be used for purposes of this Sweepstakes. In addition, all participants who are not already on Sponsor's email distribution list will be added. Participants may unsubscribe at any time by following the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email from Sponsor. All information collected via this Sweepstakes will be governed by Sponsor's privacy policy located at https://afscme.org/privacy.
Law: This Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The forum for any dispute shall be in the District of Columbia.
Release: By entering this Sweepstakes, you release Sponsor and its directors, officers, employees, consultants, contractors, employees, agents, and its related or affiliated organizations (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
