To commemorate the lives and deaths of Echol Cole and Robert Walker and to honor the 50th anniversary of the tragic events that sparked the 1968 Memphis Sanitation Workers Strike, Locals 3700 and 698 are joining with AFSCME members across the country in a nationwide Moment of Silence on February 1, 2018. Labor leaders and activists will speak briefly and we will hold our Moment of Silence at 12:30.
