The Social Security 2100 Act would increase Social Security benefits, protect retirees from the effects of inflation, and prevent a benefit cut. Crucially, it would also repeal the Government Pension Offset (GPO) and the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP), which have penalized public service workers for too long.
